Chris, heads the company with 23 years building experience under his belt. Chris spent 5 years at college gaining his qualifications. Has represented the county at national bricklaying competitions during his college days, and has built his company up to become a household name for quality and service in and around the South Woodham Ferrers area.

 

Chris is very much a hands on boss, capable of carrying out all building and landscaping tasks.

Andy, another vastly experienced member of the team, not only at Building and Landscaping, but as a business level, previously owning Meadowcoft Garden Centre. Andy joined the team in 2003 and has become a good all rounder. Andy generally works in the landscaping sector, but also gets involved on the build side.

C J Firminger's longest serving employee for 8 years, Adam has worked his way up the ranks heading the Landscaping team with Andy. Adam works generally with the patio and Driveway sector of the company but also gets involved with the bricklaying side of extension work.

Chris's Dad, Alan has been working for the company for 7 years, and proved a valuable member of the team. Alan, a former engineer, can turn his hand to anything, using his experience to tackle awkward tasks.

 

'Big Al' known by everyone generally carries out alteration & carpentry work for C J Firminger, and is responsible for the upkeep of tools and machinery.

Paul, known as 'Kilo' to almost everyone joined the team in 2004. Kilo is energetic and strong and a real workhorse. Kilo has progressed over the years and now is an important member of our Extension and New build sector, and specialises in roofing work on our projects.

Paul, formerly a professional footballer, joined C.J.Firminger from Barnet Football Club in 2003, mainly working on the Extension and New build sector of the company. Paul is a conscientious worker and specialises in the internal alteration and preparation works.

 

After 6 years service Paul has progressed to become a good all rounder at a number of tasks including Bricklaying and Block Paving.
