C J Firminger is a local based company in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex. The company was set up in 1987 by Chris Firminger as a sole proprietor. Over the years the company has grown to become a recognised name in the South Woodham Ferrers area for quality work, reliability and professionalism.

 

In the early years Chris work by himself as a sub contractor , before an increased demand saw the company grow at a steady rate and by the late 1990’s C J Firminger grew to become one of the areas leading building companies, where it still is today.    

 

C J Firminger Building and Landscaping carry out a full programme of building works, backed by insurance backed guarantees, and cover all areas of work from a broken roof tile to a complete house re build.

 

The company employ 6 staff full time, all of whom are trained and fully uniformed. All employees are covered by employer’s liability insurance and the company itself has a Public Liability insurance covered to £ 10,000,000.00, ensuring you peace of mind.

 

All quotations for work are written and no deposits are taken before work starts. C.J.Firminger are corporate members of The Guild of Master Craftsmen and CITB registered, allowing government training programmes for staff.

 

Our offices and yard are based in Battlesbridge, Essex where we have been based for the last 6 years. C J Firminger has carried out 4 new builds and 70 extensions over the years along with many other building and landscaping projects, both domestic and commercial.

 

Chris Firminger, company director is still very much hands on worker carrying out day to day tasks on our various sites.

 

C J Firminger also have an unrivalled involvement with the local community, being involved with a number of community projects.
